TRADEMARK MONITORING

Santa Cruz maintains an exclusive department to monitor trademarks, patents and designs applications from the filling until the registration and during all its term. Surveillances are made in order to identify third parties new identical or similar trademarks to prevent imitations and infringements.
If a similar trademark is identified, the owner of the referenced trademark can take administrative actions in order to prevent that this similar trademark is registered.
The follow ups are also made by the clients through the publication copies from the national Gazette, when it occurs. We count with advanced software and equipment to obtain quick information from the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO) database.
